Up and coming sales and lettings company expands to Hartlepool

A residential sales and lettings company that operates throughout the North East has invested £60,000 in opening a new branch in Hartlepool and creating multiple jobs in the process, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

The Easington-headquartered Castledene Group has opened the new branch at the junction of York Road and Victoria Road, creating four new jobs. The firm, which employs a workforce of 40, was founded in 2008 and has a network of six branches across the region, managing more than 2,000 properties.

John Paul, managing director of The Castledene Group, said: "Many of the landlords we work with own properties in Hartlepool, so we could see that it was becoming increasingly important for us to establish a strong presence in the town.

"We are always on the lookout for prominent high street locations, so when the opportunity arose to purchase this unit in such a central, easily accessible spot, we knew that it would be the ideal base for our first dedicated Hartlepool branch.

"In fact, we have been overwhelmed by enquiries from people wanting to rent and sell properties through the new office before the doors had even opened, so we knew we had made the right decision to come here."
