Many businesspeople still believe that time and attendance systems are only suitable for waged hours in production facilities and other warehouse environments.
We believe that this is not true: our system can be very useful to employees in a salaried office environment.
A time and attendance system is an easy way of gathering data which HR need to make decisions. For example, if HR are trying to build a case that an employee has been late too often and should be dismissed, they may resort to combing through old emails or hoping that managers remember exactly when the employee came in after the assigned start time.
With our system, all the HR staff would need to do is log on! They could even make a neat, clear graphical report out of the clocking data if they need to make their point to senior managers.
If the salaried employees have not opted out of the European Working Time Directive, then in busy periods with lots of overtime their managers may be concerned that their hours will breach the directive. Our system removes that headache, since it can easily calculate the threshold hours for each individual staff member and send a warning if anyone is at risk.
The employees may also find having a record of their working hours useful if they wish to use their extra effort as part of an argument for a pay-rise or promotion. They can even print their clocking times.
The international element of Frank Recruitment Group’s offices is also not a problem for our system, since we have a browser- or mobile-phone-based Self Service Module. Employees can use it from anywhere with internet in order to clock in and out, book holidays, doctor’s appointments, and change their personal details. The mobile phone version features optional GPS, so you can double-check that your employees are where you want them to be even if you aren’t in the same country!
