International engineering company moves to Quorum Park
Ramboll, an engineering, architecture and consultancy company, will move a team of 30 employees from the Quayside to Quorum Park in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Other well-known brands currently located in Quorum Park include Tesco, Pure Gym, Convergys and Engie.
Ramboll has been at the Quayside for six years, and has signed a five-year lease for its new premises. The move is part of the company’s wider intention to “grow a more sustainable business in the North East”.
Mark Wilson, global spearhead unit manager at Ramboll, said: “We are pleased that our Newcastle office relocation to the modern Quorum Park has completed ahead of schedule.
“We extend our thanks to the flexibility and support from Cushman & Wakefield in these challenging times. The team based in Newcastle look forward to settling into the new facility when circumstances allow.”
Many time and attendance systems require physical hardware, which can’t be installed when you don’t own the place where you work. Others only work in the cloud, which may not be suitable for your company’s needs due to bandwidth, security and software compatibility concerns.
Companies which have flexible workspaces, work remotely or in other ways cannot utilise physical hardware can instead use our Self Service Module (SSM).
This allows employees to clock in and out using either a browser version, or a mobile phone app. They can also request holiday using this app, which eliminates the need for cumbersome paper holiday forms. All the time data is sent straight to the central software, where you can view it in a number of formats.
The mobile app will also geolocate the employee when they clock in, which can be useful for monitoring times at different sites or other workflow concerns.
A time and attendance system from us makes attendance management quicker, simpler and more productive, and our self-service version means that all companies can benefit from these advantages.
