Fitness venture to create new jobs on Tessside

Several new jobs will be created by a health and fitness venture at Wynyard Park in County Durham, a recent news report in the local media was able to reveal.

The new Atom Health and Fitness Club at Wynyard Park, which is housed in a 5,500 sq ft unit, is being opened by Phil Lamb, a personal trainer for nine years, and Gary Gibson, an engineer from Durham who has taken on a non-executive director role.

The owners claim that the venture is aiming to "bring back a level of service that isn’t really available in most standard gyms".

"The club is equipped with a wide range of top-end equipment and we have gone for a luxurious feel and finish," said Lamb. "We will have high staffing levels, including a number of ‘experts’, which reflects our results-focussed approach."

Companies planning to extend their workforce by opening new venues should also consider implementing a solid, reliable and flexible workforce optimization system, and this is specifically where Time & Attendance – North East might be able to put its extensive experience to very good use.
