Engineering companies relocate to enable further growth

A couple of related engineering companies have relocated to a Sunderland base where their founders initially trained as engineering apprentices, a news report in the local business media was able to reveal.

4B Engineering has leased three units on Pennywell Industrial Estate to join its sister company 4B Fabrications, which also moved there when it outgrew its former premises.

What makes this move much more interesting is the fact that the two companies’ respective managing directors trained as engineering apprentices at a company that used to operate on the same premises.

Both companies are now looking to boost their North East customer base and workforces.
