Electrical company established for 110 years goes into administration

A Newcastle-based electrical company that was established 110 years ago has ceased trading, with all 15 employees being made redundant, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

Fletcher Electricals was an independent family-run business whose services included lighting, energy conservation, tests and inspections, and work with CCTV systems and fire alarms.

The company has worked on projects for the likes of Asda, Arcadia Group and John Lewis.
