Durham luxury spa goes on recruitment drive

A four-star hotel’s luxury spa in Durham has become so successful that it had to expand its team, a news report in the local media has been able to find.

The Ramside Hall Hotel’s The Spa at Ramside opened in August last year and has since attracted a large number of members and daily users. The spa offers a range of facilities including five pools, a gym, sleep sanctuary, thermal suite, Asian restaurant and a hairdressing salon.

As a result of the £8m development’s popularity, Ramside is recruiting six additional beauty therapists.

"The response to the spa and the range of treatments we offer has been beyond expectations," said Jill Russell, spa director.

"We already offer an extensive range of treatments and packages and we are continually adding to this list, which is why we have made the decision to create more jobs."
