Odour control products manufacturer to expand workforce following funding boost


A Newcastle-based firm specializing in the manufacture of odour control products will more than double its existing workforce after moving to new, larger premises, with support from Yorkshire Bank.

2Pure’s product range was developed using patented technology which destroys smells by changing the molecular structure of odour compounds. It also kills odour-causing bacteria which helps prevent them from returning.

Customer management services firm to create 600 new jobs in Newcastle


One of the UK’s largest customer management services firms will create up to 600 new jobs after becoming the sole tenant of The Rocket in Newcastle’s Stephenson Quarter, a local business report revealed.

The building will be home to Convergys’ new contact centre and represents an expansion of its presence in the region, with 700 staff already employed at the Quorum Business Park.
