Bar + Block Steakhouse will open seven days a week in Newcastle, in a renovated listed building that can take 155 covers at once. Features include an expansive bar, butchers table, open kitchen and booth seating. This will be Bar + Block Steakhouse’s thirteenth site, with rapid expansions into Wimbledon, Belfast, Bristol, Winnersh and Sutton completed in 2019. 

 

The steakhouse was founded in 2016 by Whitbread, the hospitality operator which owns Premier Inn, as well as other restaurant brands Beefeater, Brewers Fayre, Table Table and Whitbread Inns.
