Utilities consultancy to create multiple new jobs in Washington

An utilities consultancy company has revealed plans to create multiple jobs after moving into the The Hub in Washington, a recent business media news report has been able to suggest.

The consultancy, Zynergy Utilities, specialises in helping businesses to save money on their gas, electricity and water. It also advises on how to reduce carbon footprints, secure grants and funding, and provides energy comparisons.

Less than six months old, Zynergy said it has reported a huge demand for its services from clients including hotels, bars and restaurants, schools and community centres.

Director Mike Dodds commented: "Although still in its infancy, the company has already got off to a great start and we are looking forward to growing the business here at The Hub," he said.

"When we started looking around for business premises, we needed somewhere that was not in the city centre but in a good location, provided excellent transportation links and offered the flexibility to grow.

"The Hub, which is part of the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) in Sunderland, offers all that and more with access to business and support from the BIC."The company is on target to save £3m worth of savings for its customers in the first year and will be opening a telesales centre in The Hub by the end of the year, which could help create ten new jobs.”
