Alloy refurbishment firm to expand workforce following investment
A Hartlepool-based alloy refurbishment firm is set to increase turnover and expand its workforce after securing funding from Barclays to purchase new equipment, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.
R S Alloy, which was established in 2010 by Ray Smith, specialises in alloy wheel refurbishment including straightening and polishing services and the new equipment will enable the business to undertake hydrographic work to an industrial standard.
Managing director Ray Smith said an opportunity arose to grow the business and with interest rates "at an all-time low" he decided "the time was right" to invest for growth and expand its services.
