Security company to create 600 new jobs as part of expansion plans
A security company based in Newcastle has revealed plans to create 600 new jobs as part of an UK-wide expansion drive, a recent media news report into the matter has been able to reveal.
Danieli Holdings, which operates in the security, healthcare, training and property development sectors, is set to expand its subsidiary Phoenix Security by opening new offices in Leeds, Birmingham, Edinburgh and London through 2015, which is designed to raise turnover and boost its 1,200-strong workforce by as much as 50 per cent.
Alongside the expansion for Phoenix, Danieli Holdings is growing significantly across its other divisions. Its Northridge Healthcare arm operates care homes and has recently returned to the domiciliary care sector with its new Homecare Plus business.
Neil Winch, group chief executive, said: "We have further expansion plans for the next five to ten years in all of the sectors we operate in, and there are more sectors to come with planned acquisitions in the pipeline.
"It’s a very exciting time indeed and will result in the group becoming one of the fastest-growing, multi-faceted privately owned North East based companies with a national reputation to be proud of."
