New jobs created in Newcastle following major refurbishment

Multiple jobs have been created in Newcastle following the refurbishment and reopening of a local eatery, a news report in the local media can reveal.

The 15 new appointments were created following a £250,000 refurbishment of City Tavern by pub and coffee shop entrepreneur David King. Following the improvement works, City Tavern has been reopened under the Bar Hound brand.

Mr. King, a passionate and successful restaurateur, said: "It’s been a bit of a challenge to get the work completed but I am absolutely delighted to re-open City Tavern.

"I’m passionate about providing a venue which has a great atmosphere where people can relax and I’m confident we’ve achieved that. Another important aspect of what we offer, in addition to serving craft ales, including our own City Tavern Ale, which has been specially brewed for us, is to serve food using the best local produce available."
