Long lasting clocking smart cards have a wipe clean plastic shell
Employees in Scunthorpe and Newcastle are expected to be out of work by the end of this year. That is because Lloyds Banking Group will close a number of regional sites. Almost 350 staff are expected to be made redundant with the closure of the two North East administration sites: about 209 in Scunthorpe and 135 in Newcastle. The group is still considering where to make the remaining job cuts, which come as part of a restructuring of its business.
A complete smart card clocking system from Time and Attendance North East includes all the features to manage time and attendance recording from 50 people up to 10,000. Smart cards use proximity reading technology, where the badge does not have to be removed from a wallet or purse. The badge will read through your wallet or purse in ¼ second (up to 15 times faster than swipe systems and more reliable). The long lasting cards have a durable, wipe clean plastic shell.
